Do you wear bra for the whole day and even at home? I think we should go bra-free after reading this article. It's a message for your health. I think it's important to be aware of the following facts..
For years,a lot of article with regards to the causes of breast cancer point to an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise as the major links to this disease which happens to be the biggest killer among women during these last two decades.
Perhaps the most convincing article I have ever read with regards to this matter is one which links breast cancer to the wearing of bras. In the "Bra and Breast Cancer Study" in the United States, it was discovered that women with breast cancer had a history of sporting tighter and longer bra-wearing than did the women who had not (yet) developed the disease.
In fact, virtually the entire cancer group wore bras over 12 hours. When a woman wears a tight bra, she subjects her breast to pressure, closing off the lymphatic pathway from the breast to the nodes. This causes fluid built-up swelling, tenderness and cyst formation. Toxins must be flushed out via the lymphatic. However, a bra-constricted breast cannot adequately perform this cleansing process, resulting in toxin accumulation in the breast.
Truthfully, bras are creating droopy, weak breast...the breast relies on the bras for artificial support;the body loses its ability to support the breast by itself. This is why many women feel uncomfortable without the bra.
What is the solution to breast cancer then? DON'T WEAR TIGHT BRA! And maybe sleep without them.
There is a remarkable success rate for recovery from fibrocystic breast disease within 10 days to two weeks of going bra-free. Many women have tried going bra-less and recorded a miraculous improvement in their health! Bra burning is no longer a feminist issue..it is now a battle between life and death. We should make others more aware of the hazards of wearing them....

yes, thats true because my Mom is a nurse.
She told me about this but i never believed her.
your right I think we should spread this.
It could save someone's life.
The thing is most people will hear it and be like whatever until they start getting the symptoms or someone they knows gets the symptoms then they will want to know.

Thanks for sharing that. I only wear a bra, when I go out in the public. It's off as soon as I hit my house. I hate the things. If they hang to my knee, so be it! At least I'm more comfy.

I do that too. I just wear bra when going out of the house. I think it's ok if they hang to your knee as long as it does not contain any cancerous elements and you're comfortable without it..lol

Very informative post. I often do the same as others said. Like not wearning a bra when alone at home. Otherwise I usually do wear when going out. But,see to that it is comfortable and not tight. We wear it to get comfort not discomfort and cancers. So, be careful while choosing one. Even if they are a bit lose but see to that its not too tight.
Take care

I am doing my best now to stay away from bras. I like to wear sports bras or tank tops that have padding in them.

You can still wear bras in public places as long as it is not too tight and it's comfortable. But just don't wear if you are inside your house or while you were sleeping. Thanks

Thanks for the information. The only time I wear a bra is when I go out and then that is depending on where I am going and what kind of top I am wearing. I would say that on average I wear a bra lef than 4 hours a day. If I am staying home I am bra-less all the time. It feels great.

I've heard this plenty of times in the past. This isn't a new thing at all. Personally I don't like not wearing a bra. I mean, I don't sleep in a bra but I feel uncomfortable without a bra on and I'd never go without a bra besides when I sleep and I have slept in my bra before.
If I get cancer because I wore a bra... my bad I guess.
I mean I totally don't mean that in a careless way, but these days everything gives you cancer. I just don't think there's always something you can do to prevent it. If it's going to happen it's going to happen. with or without bra I'd say.

There are a lot of certain kinds of cancers nowadays. But if there are ways to prevent it, why should we have to let it happen to us? I mean, prevention is still better than cure. Thanks a lot for responding.

I can not stand going braless. I think it's security for me. But I have been wearing tank tops with the shelf bra in them. I have a little bit of security with it. But it's not restrictive. My sister-in-law on the other hand has gotten very good at taking her bra off while she is driving. Half the time she don't even wear hers to work.

uh oh..I know I have heard this over and over before, with my mom and older folks..but I guess I'm a bit stubborn, I waer bra more than 12 hours a day, now that's bad..from morning till late night evening, I only take it off when I'm about to sleep and I sleep very late.
Time to change that habit before it's too late..thanks for reminding us again!

How interesting!! I have never heard of the bra/ breat cancer theory- but personally dispise wearing bras..LOL. I go without them whenever possible- so I guess I was being pro-active without even knowing it!! In my family the elders always stressed that a woman should wear a bra at ALL times- even to bed- because of the saggy boob syndrome- boy wait till I pass this information on to them...LOL

Hahahah..good for you. It's very true that women who don't wear bra at all times makes their boobs saggy. It's okay to wear as long as it's not too tight and you're comfortable of it. Tell the elders just don't wear..weheheh

I've heard that we well and you're argument makes sense. It's like anything in life - 'everything in moderation'! I can't live without my bra. Even as a young girl, I felt 'naked' without it. I got used to having that extra layer of protection from the world. LOL! Now, after having kids and still nursing, if I don't wear a bra, MY MILK LEAKS!!!! I can guarantee a spring leak if I let them hang. It's hysterical! I used to switch to a sports bra at night but I don't have the money to buy a really good one right now. Hopefully when I lose my last 20 lbs I can go back to regular sports bras. Also, I can't stand a bra without underwire! I must have lift and seperation. And I heard that is worse as well. Underwire cuts into the tissues more and can restrict flow.

It is true (very true!) that wearing bra is very much important for us women. I don't feel comfortable not wearing bra before but i don't care of it now. I don't wear inside our house but i do wear outside just for protection. I think sports bras are safe as long as you're comfortable with it. Using bras with underwire i heard that it is not good coz it worsen the effect as you have said..thanks a lot
