I Am Disappointed In Mylot!!

I contacted Mylot on Sunday about the fact that I could not view some of the responses to my discussions and to inqiure about the new pay decrease. They told me that the problem with my dicussions had been fixed, which it has not, and they completely ignored that question about the pay.
I know that there are a lot of people, including me, who have said that it is not about the pay. But, for me the pay is a big part of it. I noticed that in the last couple of days I have been spending time on another site like this one. Time that I would normally have put into Mylot.
I do miss the closeness hear. I really feel it now that I have started on another site. So, that will keep me on Mylot until it folds, but my heart just isn't into it the way it use to be. The other site just seems like more of a breath of fresh air. I guess I will be doing both of them now.

i've noticed the decrease too. the pay is important to us, we've been tight on money lately. what other site are you using? i was wondering if there was another like mylot that paid as well. its getting hard to find good discussions on here. lately the list is flooded with discussions from this guy about his many dogs. they say hes a fake running like 5 accounts, but mylot apparently hasn't caught on yet.

I suggest that we should be very vigilant when it comes to posts and people whoa re absuing mylot coz weither we like it or not we have been affected by these abusers and if we wont act now, then when? Its a matter of helping one another improve things here and the answer is us. I we notice someone is abusing it is best to report this person to mylot and try to get the enough eveidence to nail him so that this would be a good site to post and learn and earn at the same time.

I have noticed the decress of pay myself in here this month espically. I mean I haven't done to great at all lately. I hope this new site pays better best of luck to you and if you do leave I'll miss reading your disscussions.

Awww I miss reading your discussions too. You can still post in both of them you know LOL Typical of mylot though, only answer what they want to answer. Well as long as I have made the minimum payout I am happy, but will still miss your discussions :(

I will still be here, just a lot less often. The pay is very discouraging and I feel as though I am wasting my time by trying so hard. So now I will just view this site as a way to keep up with online friends. My e-mail box has never been so full for so long. I even type slower on this site now.

Well, we really have to understand that probably MyLot has only a limited staff and could not attend to all of members' problems. All we could do is to just continue whatever we are doing here, for as long as the site is still up. As to the pay, I think we have to be openminded on this thing. It might be a big disappointment for good posters like you and me but the site also has to make money to protect itself from dissolving. If it won't be profitable anymore, then this will just fold up and just be gone to hell (hehehehe, right?) I also is disappointed by the dcrease of the rates but I understand them anyway.
This still business. They must have revenues to pay us. And they must remain in black profitability to continue existing, right?
So let us just understand myLot here.

Yes, unfortunately the pay here is really going down compared to what it used to be, and I feel a lot of it is stemming from the 2 months of Contests where they had to pay out so much, and not sure if this means pay will always be this low from now on, or just temporary?
And as for other sites... Yes, I know there are more sites out there. But the problem can be the Pay #1, and then #2 ... is being able to make friends. That is a hard one too. But it is to each it's own.
And I am here for the long haul with myLot as well. I have been here 10 months and have made a lot of wonderful friends.

I am, too...but I have already resigned to this little fact that Mylot's traffic is really decreasing...we checked it out at alexa site, and truly is is going down...it is so sad, if only we could help. Anyway, you're right...earnings here is not everything, but for practicality's sake, we still do care about it. So everytime we work so hard and end up with very little earning, we get so discouraged. But you know, I have already learned to ignore it now, and is just merely enjoying and having fun responding to discussions such as this...otherwise, we become demotivated, just like other mylotters.

I understand where you are coming from. I believe that Mylot may be paying a penny a post now, if that much. To me, my time is very valuable and sitting at the computer, just chattering away is not my idea of time well spent, I need to feel like I am accomplishing something.

They never did respond to my question about why I wasn't getting my responses. It kinda made me angry. I ended up fixing the problem myself. There is no sense in them not answering questions. I see more and more posts about MyLot having problems. What site are you doing...if you can tell. I'm not sure about the rules regarding mentioning other websites here. PM me if you have to.:)

We all are. But I really love it here. I was searching for some sites similar to MyLot but has a few members but I didn'd sign up for one. Eventhough I'm disappointed I don't think I would quit on MyLot. I love this site. This is the only site that I focus on. I hope that the moderators and admins would find a way ro solve all our problems.

that is the way I feel about Yahoo..questions and answers..it got so stupid that I just quit..maybe I was a little wrong..well maybe a lot wrong..but i got booted at a high level and i came back and got to a level five..but i was a seven..gosh..now this site caught my eye,,but it get old..and for the same reasons you gave...i guess i will be like you and travel to greener pastures...i wish you could give me a hint at a better site..but if you don't..maybe i will understand..as mylot would probably not like it..and mylot is our boss..right?

It is a good thing mylot allows posts and discussions like this in their site. I hope members concerns should be addressed by the owner/operator of this site. And issues resolved fairly to all.
