I like to take time to think about what I want to say. When I write letters,I can choose my words carefully. That way,I never have to worry about saying the erong thing. I have beautiful handwriting and I like todraw little pictures on letters I write.I like to imagine that the person I write the letterto will keep it,and read it years later.

Talking on the Phone with Friends - Talking on the phone with friends is a good way to kill time and it is better for friends to know each other.
Hi,beyond12! I prefer talking on the phone with my friends.Because when we talking,it is easy for me to recognize his/her emtion and reaction.Once I liked writing letters to my friends but I couldn't keep it because sometimes I cannot find a proper word to describe my feelings.:P Talking on the phone is more directly.

I like writing letters too. in fact, i'd rather write than talk on the phone. ^__^ I cannot seem to talk on the phone for hours or even for half an hour only. when I do, there's always those blank moments when we have nothing to say. but if I'm writing a letter, even if there's a blank moment, at least there's no one that would be waiting for my reply and no awkward moments. I can think for as long as I need to. and you're right, we can choose our words so we can avoid saying inappropriate and silly words. I also like writing graphics within my sentences like smileys or anything cute. ^__^ I love writing. that's why I have penpals. ^__^

I have never been one for writing letters simply because I have the worst writing in the whole world, I don't mind sending emails but to be honest it is like talking to yourself as no-one else I know likes to even email back so it is talking on the phone a lot with me.

i like talking on the phone better. i don't have to worry about spelling, grammar or punctuations. i say it better than writing about it. besides, i feel better knowing that the person i want to communicate with can actually hear me saying the message and how i say it so that there won't be misinterpretation or something. =)
