Do you think teenagers should be given a credit card to use regardless of lawful age?

the first thing to consider is their maturity.
i give my sister an extension card at the age of 17. she's 19 now and i had no problem with her.
i told her to use it for emergency only.

Nowadays, younger teenagers hardly be obedient except your sister. It is great that your sister listens to you however, you mentioned that it is to be used in emergency which I have questions pop up in my mind. Under what circumstances or situations, you will declare it is emergency? Will you ask your sister about the payments on the bill is it on emergency basis?
