When is the second season starting?

I watched the 1st season for 2 days straight and I couldn't get enough of it. Based on the last segment of the last episode-the part where it went back to the ancient past, I think season 2 would kick off from it. I think season 2 would be about how it all started, how people with special powers came about. It's just a thought though. What do you think?
I especially like the character of Hiro Nakamura, I would love to have that kind of power. And I also like his conviction as a hero. He's so idealistic. And very funny too. I also like the character of Claire - very strong. I would be fearless if I had that power.
Heroes is really awesome!

hmm..i read somewhere in mylot that the second season of heroes will start sometime in september? but i'm not sure whether it's correct or not. i love to watch heroes too, it's one of the best series ever! i don't stay in the US so i might get season 2 a lil bit later:( but it's ok, better late than never! looking forward to the second season of heroes!^___^

Me too, I'm in the Philippines. But I got my 1st season copy from somewhere here. And I heard you can actually watch it in the internet and download it, but I don't know the website to go to. I must say Heroes is one of the best tv series I've watched. It keeps you glued to it. Who's your favorite character?

OK...today is July 26th and Heroes starts again on September 24th. Which is 60 dys away!!! I have a countdown widget on my myspace page :D I can't wait for heroes to start again. Also, where the show left off in ancient times will be it's own show and it will be called Origins. They're planning on making that one start when Heroes takes a break. I read an article in TV Guide Magazine saying that the makers of the show felt they lost alot of viewers because of the two LONG breaks the show took...so "Origins" will fill those gaps in hopes of not losing those viewers. So it's not even supoosed to start until around December when Heroes stops airing for a few weeks. :(
They've already cast the next villian and it's a latina woman who is from another part of the world. I don't remember the name of the actress chosen and don't recall seeing her before though. She's supposed to be worse than Sylar in her powers too. I love the show!! The first season comes out on DVD August 28th...and I'll be at the store to buy it too!!! :D

Hey, thank you so much for that information! I can't wait to see Origins as well. I must agree, the hiatus is quite too long and people are really eager to see the 2nd season. Foogirl, keep us updated ok! Thanks, girl.

i watched season 1 in 3 straight nights. its really great. i think season 2 already started in Crime nd Suspense channel but I want to watch it straight so i'll wait till its available in dvd.
