I had dinner with my english teacher from the U.S yesterday. He told me he and his colleagues spent almost four months to write a who's who book in Shanghai.Basically,it introduces 1300 successful people from all walks of life from overseas who are working in shanghai right know. Now,it has been published and his work is to sell these books. He asked me if there is a possibility that people around me are interested in this kind of book and my answer is "NO".What do you think,my dear friends?Would you buy such a book?

Sounds like it might be a good book for a college course. Personally, I could buy a boat load of more interesting books to read with $300. Seems to me that four months isn't a whole lot of time to gather that kind of information, so I doubt the book is worth that much money. Other people have put years into collaborations, and those books are worth the money.
