If drinking and driving is illegal, why do bars have parking lots?

Okay Stiffler07, I'm goin to be serious with this one..lol. I guess the parking lots are intended for the designated drivers who are driving the drunks to and from the bar...hopefully anyway. I in no way approve of drunk driving!

I just don't know what to say for you today, they have parking lots to give their customers somewhere to park. The bars don't take responsibility for people after they have the drinks at their bar they are only concerned about getting them in not what they do after they leave. It is the driver of the vehicle who is responsible whether he/she drinks and then drives.

That is so they can drive in and park. Also it is for the taxis who take the drunks home, and for the designated driver to park. Also, I suppose that the bar is not in the middle of nowhere, so unless there is a sign such as "''The Happy Hour Bar' Parking Only, offenders will be prosecuted' anybody else could park there as well.
