High School reunions, a do or a don't?

Has anyone attended their 20th High School reunion? Mine should be upcoming! I chose not to attend the 10th reunion that was held because at that time I was still living in my hometown and continued to see my former classmates, so for me it would prove redundant (in my much younger train of thought). Now it isi time for the 20th, and I am "biting at the bits" to attend. It seems the older I become, the more nostalgic I want to be. I would love to see my former classmates now that I have moved away from my hometown.

well, my 20th is still a few years off, but i would like to attend it. our 10th should be in 2009. we didn't have a 5 year reunion. i see a few people from my class now and then, i still live in my hometown. even though i had a small group of friends that probably won't go to reunions, i'll still go just for the chance to see them.

Well as noted before I didn't attend my 10th, but now that it's time for the 20th, I regret not attending the first one. But from what I heard, I was shocked at who actually attended. While less than half of the graduating class showed up, it seems ALL of the cliques were well represented. So you could be stunned by who becomes nostalgic the older they become. :-)

My 25th came and went.that is my 25th high school reunion..but I never saw anything out that there was going to be a reunion. I am sure there was..but me being in WV and the highschool I graduated from being in Indiana..I think it was too difficult to make connections..maybe for the 40th..lol ..Boy do I feel like I am getting old.

Thanks for the response! I had to play my old high school role and instigate a 20th. I was always referred to as a ring leader and I suppose it's true. From more than 100 miles away, I helped locate former classmates, line up party favors and draft additional help! I hope the next one I am less involved in!

I think there is a natural nostalgia to the 20th (and maybe beyond), that doesn't seem to exist earlier. My 20th should be this year so I'm interested to see how many show up!

I didn't go to my 10th or 20th High School reunion. I think I have also missed my 30th and will miss my 40th in 2009 and am not really sad about it at all. I didn't really have good friends in high school. I onl knew a couple of people. Don't see any real reason to show up. The people I knew best would have been the teachers and if they are still alive, I am sure tey will not be attending the reunioun.
