Does anyone like walking around barefoot other than my husband?

I hate walking around barefoot inside our house because the floor is very cold, and I'm not used to it. In Philippines we always wear slipppers inside the house and even have extra pairs for the guests. It's a habit.
My husband? ohh! he loves walking around barefoot. Even outside in the garden playing with our dog. eeewww!!the first thing he does when he comes home is take off his shoes and socks. I dunno how many times did i buy him slippers, they all ended up being the dog's toy, 'til i got tired buying him any pair at all.
I used to give him a hard time about it, because sometimes he just goes to bed without washing his feet!! I did kick him once though! LOL.. eventually he got the message...
I told him, i don't really care if he likes walking barefoot as long as he washes his feet before going to bed...hehehe
Does any of you likes walking barefoot?

I live in central Scotland and in the winter I put shoes on to go out in the garden but I always go barefoot in the house, My hubby puts his slippers on before he goes out of the bedroom, My floors are all carpeted so the house is cosy to walk on,I go out in the garden in the good weather in my bare feet, When I go to visit anyone I always ask if they mind if I remove my shoes . I am like your husband as so many times I get slippers as presents and they go to the charity shops,I am sitting here at the moment with bare feet, I will put a picture here of mu hubby and myself taken at my parents house the other day, my bare feet proves what I told you here, take care and enjoy My Lot xx

That's nice your floors are all carpeted, ours are not, that's why it's very cold.
So you're Scottish? my husband is half Scottish and half English. hehehehe.. I've never been to Scotland, he keeps on saying it's a very nice country.
I love your picture! hehehehe funny! great idea! next time i'll take picture of my husband walking around barefoot.. :)

I dont mind walking around my house or on the beach barefoot, but anywhere else I cannot stand. I refuse to walk in grass or, dirt or anything barefoot, I just hate the feeling.

I hate walking barefoot in the grass too! its itchy...gives me goose bumps!! but i like walking barefoot in the mud!! oh yeah! i remember when i was a kid at my grandparents farm, when it rains...the soil is like clay, very muddy..and i used to go walking in it barefoot... hahahahahaha

I like to walk around barefoot as long as it's not too cold. I also think it's probably one of the healthiest ways to walk. You have less chance of developing sweaty feet or smelly feet because your feet are always getting plenty of fresh air.

I walk around barefoot every day. Inside and outside, barefoot is the way to go! When I take my walk at night, the first thing I do when I get home is take off my shoes and socks. I am barefoot in the summer and in the winter. I think your husband has the right idea:)

Barefoot in the summer? well, i don't think you can do that here in Bahrain...oohhh! you'll burn your feet if you walk outside barefoot.. it's bloody hot ! and i don't think my husband will even dare... hehehehehe

My girlfriend loves to go around barefooted, if she could she would never put on socks or shoes XD
The only problem with that is that we don't have any carpents yet, since we just recently moved, witch means her feet are ice cold

My husband walks around the house barefoot. I keep reminding him to use his slippers for the floors are cold. And there are times that I haven't got the time to mop the floors. So dirty floors + dirty feet = spreading the dirt around the house especially in the bedroom. But, he keeps forgetting them and I eventually got tired reminding him. What I do though is to regularly mop the floors even when I have some other more important things to do. Our son hates to use his slippers, too. So, that's make the two of them walking barefoot around the house.

It's really tiring, reminding your husband to wear slippers..well somehow i got tired of it. hehehehe...now i can't be bothered anymore if he walks around barefoot as long as he washes his feet before going to bed. and you're right about the dirt, bacteria...

same here. i can't walk around the house without wearing slippers at all. i feel sorry for my soles. so, i always wear my slippers inside the house.
my boyfriend doesn't like wearing slippers, too. even anyone from his family. i think they grew up not used to wearing slippers inside the house. instead, they just wear socks. the weather here is cold and socks are really of great help. and that's how they do it. my boyfriend, instead of wearing slippers, he wears socks.

At least your boyfriend wears socks, mine doesn't even like wearing one at home. The first thing he does when he gets home is take them off, it's like saying "i can't wait to walk barefoot" LOL! and i don't think he feels sorry for his soles either. hehehehe... cold or hot, dirty or clean he just can't be bothered. hehehe..

The only time I ever have anything on my feet is when I go out and then it's usually only a oair of sandals. I hate the feel of socks and shoes on my feet and am always barefoot around the house.

I like walking barefoot at home but not outside the house because my feet will get dirty. We do have inside slippers but only my mother and my grandma like wearing them.(",) I like walking in the cold floor that's why I don't like to wear slippers inside the house.

Sometimes I don't mind walking around the yard in my barefeet, but usually I end up stepping on something, like pine needles and they hurt..I prefer to wear shoes outside. Inside I go barefoot, because we have carpeting. Sometimes I wear socks, but when I am in the house I don't wear shoes.

I am exactly like your husband. I walk Barefoot everywhere, indoors and outdoors, and I love it. And yes.. I go to bed with my Bare Feet Dirty as well!
