Do you ever ask yourself that here at myLot?
Do you ever wonder why some people add comments to other people's replies and not yours? Literally, I asked myself "what am I chopped liver?" after noticing this the other day and I felt so silly.
Am I twelve?????? Junior high - revisited.
Do you ever find yourself getting stupidly sensitive to things here at myLot? Be honest. ;)

You know what it used to upset me or make me think I was speaking rubbish and made no sense! Now I know that this is just some peoples way and I try not to worry about it - at least I know I have done my best and that is all any of us can ask for! xxx

Hello makingpots!
I think I have felt it sometimes, especially when the poster is commenting to all other and leaves my response. This also happens when the poster is engaging others back and forth while paying no attention to my response. I figure that my response perhaps has nothing to comment on, or nothing interesting to be attracted to. But, when I see that the poster is commenting back on seemingly silly or mundane responses, I don't understand this. Still, I'll not mind as such as long as the poster is commenting back to at least to others' responses. I am most annoyed when the poster do not comment back at all.
I do every effort and take pain to get back to every response made in my discussion. I don't think there is any response left in my discussion where I haven't commented back. Even if I don't find anything interesting, I still take time to search for anything remotely comment able. I also like to be the last in chatting in discussions just because the other person do not feel that, I have left him/her. There are few however, in this case, that I leave just not to bother more the other person.

that is a good way to handle it. I try not to pay much attention to best responses either.

i also feel like that. there are exceptions. if i respond to a topic with loads of replies i dont mind not to receive a comment. but when there are few, like one or two, i feel offended when i dont receive a comment. i really try to comment on all my replies but the loading time takes forever. i use gprs.

Yes, I expect to always get many responses to my own di scussions - because it proved so many people and I have a common interest, I felt less lonely.

lol. I'm new here so I'm not too bothered by it yet. Plus, I haven't started any discussions because I'm still checkin' things out. :) There have been other places though that I've felt the same way. I think it's just human nature.
If it makes you feel better I have it so I get a notice whenever you start a discussion so I can read it. ;)

Oh, no.... I expect to not always get many responses to my own discussions - that is just the nature of the beast.
When I found myself asking this was when I checked back over responses I made and noticed someone had replied back to what seemed like everyone but me.
Yes, momofheathens, it makes me feel better to know that you have me on notify. :) I hope you are enjoying myLot. It is fun around here.
