Question: Should we be allowed to "bump" discussions?

Since I started here at myLot a few days ago, I have started several topics which I felt might be interesting to the myLot community - as have most myLotters who start discussions. What I've noticed is that many of the topics I've started are "unresolved" as of today, which got me thinking about how to change that.
So, here's my question to the myLot community: Should we be allowed to "bump" topics we started say, three days to a week ago? In other words, should we be allowed to reply to our own opening post in unresolved discussions?

That sounds like a good idea. But I have a better one, why not have it so we can sort the unwanted discussions to put them ahead or allow us to delete them after a certain time has left. I have so more unresolved discussions than resolved ones.

That's a great idea, suspensefulone. Having the option to delete our unresolved topics would probably really help, wouldn't it? I mean, with new topics (or repetitions of new ones, or etc.) starting every second of every minute, it would be really time-consuming to sort through every single discussion a person has started... *hmm*
