Do you request friends?

I must admit, I resquest fewer friends than I accept. If I find that a person is responding to the same discussions that I am responding to or their discussions speak to my heart or sense of humor, I will make the request. These are few and far between. I will only accept friends under the same criteria. If a person disagrees with me, and requests my friendship, I may still accept. But if I feel no connection, I will neither request or accept.
Any thoughts?

I accept all friends request no matter what but they still dont message me and that so i really dont see the point of it unless you do actually talk to them on a regular base.but i dont go around actually requesting for friends.

you have a right to choose your friends, and lay down the criteria for your friendshipbut remember no two people are the same and one needs a lot of adjustments to get along.

I don't request too many. Most of the people on my list requested me.
There are a few that always have interesting discussions, such as you, that I did send out a request. Some of the others I have requested live in my home state or a town near me. Some just make me laugh, which is a good thing.

I pretty much have the same policy about this as you do. In the beginning I requested a lot because I was not getting many replies to discussions I started so I assummed I need more friends to have people reading them. Now, I almost never make requests unless something has spoken to me from a persons reply.
