If you mean the percentage of people who are computer literate, I would suppose that the U.S. is between 80% and 90%. There are still a lot of people in the country who either die hard refuse to use computer people like Dr. Patch Adams (the same one as the movie is about) and my old boss. And, there are those who just don't get computers. My mother knows a little bit but there are a lot of people out there who just don't grasp computers. It's just the way their mind works.
The reason I know that Patch Adams doesn't use a computer is because I wrote an article inspired by his story and faxed it to him. A week or so later, I received a hand-written letter from him and part of what he said is that he refuses to use a computer. Since he's doing so many wonderful things in medicine and helping people worldwide, I guess it's not important that he uses a computer or not.

I can't say exactly. But you say it will get 100% in next 50 years. Have you programmed it to be so?;) I am not so sure...

It is difficult to say what the computer literacy is in our country but it definitely is not 100%. I think it is higher than in your country but not sure how much. Computers are becoming or have become a way of life so I think our percentage is much higher. Computers are required for many jobs and many people have computers at home. Kids are learning how to use computers at a very early age now.

From my point of view, computer literacy is not so less as saying you. The percentage of computer literacy in our country is about 25-35% and it is increasing day by day. Because use of computer is increasing in all type of companies and it is need of the comapnies. Due to ths reason, students give more attention to computer education and I think that it will take very much time to reaching 100%. Beacuse our country has many undevelop areas and even these areas doesn't have electricity. So, it will take more time to familiar with computers by peoples of thses areas.

I don't know the percentage of computer literacy in my country but it must be one of the highest in Southamerica, with Argentina and Chile. I have no idea when it will be 100% but recently the government began a plan to provide all schoolboys with a computer. If the plan is accomplished all young people, at least, will be computerwise.
