so rather then responding to my post earlier im going to just start a new one...
i still hadn't gotten my period. i stayed off roller coasters yesterday because of it!
this morning i felt like crap, i took a nap with my daughter and got up and went to the bathroom. there was a little bit of blood. so i just figured i had started my period. well then i started feeling worse. i had pretty bad cramps, light headed, dizzy, REALLY tired, still puky.
so i called my mid wives, and i talked to a nurse. she told me that its probably not a miscarriage because the blood isnt dark/brown.
she said it could possibly be implantation bleeding. i asked her what it looked like, and she said it can be from RED to light.. i always thought that it would come out like pink, and not be as much. but i guess it differs from person to person
my blood was bright, but its not heavy. its not enough to use a tampon, and just enough to wear a pad. but i almost dont even need that.
does anyone know about this? and what the blood is supposed to look like? and how much?

If you are pregnant, don't be too worried. It's something like 1 in 3 or 4 pregnancies (that go on to have healthy babies) that experience bleeding, so bleeding in itself is not a cause for worry.
Implantation bleeding would happen roughly 10 days past ovulation, or a couple days before your missed period if your cycles are regular. I've never experienced it myself, though, so I can't say what it looks like.
Good luck!

I know with both my kids I had some spotting round the time I would have had my period, mostly when I hit the 2 month mark.
I of course freaked out because I was bleeding. The baby was fine, obviously because they are sitting here fighting over a car...lol.
That must have been hard to not get on rides and not knowing what is going on. Don't you wish we could just take a quick peek inside.

I had that with one of my pregnancies..it was light though. I know women who have had heavier bleeding and were pregnant. Have you taken a pregnancy test? If so was it positive? If you are pregnant, it is really early, but a test will show positive if you are. Best wishes!
