Adsense Referrals 2.0

I'm worried about trying Adsense Referrals 2.0, because I already earn a VERY high eCPM with Adsense for Content, and when browsing the ad marketplace, I find very few relevant CPA ads that I would expect any significant conversions for.
How are you using Referrals 2.0? Are you selecting individual products, or are you allowing Google Adsense to pick ads based off of keywords?
Please keep your responses relevant to Referrals 2.0, NOT Referrals 1.0 with only Google products.
