Who here is getting their MA? Or who had already finished earning their Master's Degree? What did you study and in what school? Anyone here have taken up or is taking up a Master's Degree in Comparative Literature or Creative Writing?

I had finished my MA this year.
Got my Master's Degree in Business Administration.
=)
You taking that one up? or still planning to?
I suggest you scan through all the programs of each school in your area first. There are slight differences but the better the school performance or name, you will be sure that you'll get better education.
I have realized while taking up my Master's that it's quite different from the Bachelor's Course. It's all about your batchmates. The better group you have, the better you learn because Master's is all about sharing. The better high-ranking and mature your classmates are, the better you're sure to learn more. Plus not to mention the qualifications of your professors.
=)
So check them out. I took the Accelerated Program for Executives. So the group were the 'cream of the crop'.

You sure you want to do that? I suggest you go first for an experience or working on something related. It defeats the purpose actually if you go directly to MA after Bachelors'.
I took mine at Ateneo University.
I'm working as marketing director for a company here in my locality.
Planning to take my Doctor's Degree at around 30 or 35 years old when I have enough experience and money.

taking my phd right now :)
actually there is a huge arena of trade offs whether one would go to MA after undergrad - its between, if you proceed immediately, you have the best chance of getting since you got the adrenalin, the drive to pursue and also the momentum.
i can remember when i graduated from college and got vacant for a year. that is, i did not try to find a job so felt like i am forgetting the concepts and principles taught in the academic days. sometimes i cannot even remember certain mathematical formula.
another side of thing is practicality. things will play between earning your livelihood or spend more for your further education. it depends more if you have your own family already. you really have to set your priorities.
good to your plans :)
