Have you been bitten by an animal?

I've only been bitten playfully by cats, dogs, birds, and rabbits. I've never been seriously bitten.

I have never been bitten by an animal till now.Sometimes dogs will follow me while moving in a bike but they havn't bitten me.

Other than pets just playing around I believe I've only been bitten once. I was going to my friends house and she stayed with her Grandmother (her mother was married to a man out of state and was back and forth a lot). Her uncle kept his dog there - part Chow & part something else that I can't this of at this moment. Rambo (the dog) was asleep on the porch. I thought nothing of it and started to step over him to get to the front door. That's when he attacked me! Luckily he was a on chain and I was able to get far enough back or I'd been in the hospital! He bit me right above my left knee as I was trying to get away. Then he tried to bite me on my right leg but jerked it back at the right so all he had was my jeans. He held onto those jeans ripping them from just bellow my underwear all the way down to my ankle! My friends uncle was tore up about it and gave me money to replace my jeans with. The only the we could conclude as to why the dog attacked me - considering he knew me - was that I caught him off guard by trying to step over him while he was sleeping. And he was just trying to protect himself and his family. My friends uncle started keeping him elsewhere though after that. Afraid he'd do it again sometime to someone else.

I've been bitten by a dog, although it was just enough to draw blood, no big puncture wound. I'm also been bitten by a fish. But hey, I was trying to cath him to eat for supper. I really can't say as I blame him.

I worked at a veterinary clinic for 4 years and am surprised I had only been bitten twice. Of course we always wore the gloves, they can't get through the thick cow hide. One bite was on my birthday, the dog jumped out of the chair and bit the side of my face but did not puncture the skin. The other time was a sick puppy, we weren't sure at the time if it had parvo, or rabies. He bit me in a fight to get out of his kennel. I was very happy to find out he did NOT have rabies! My family raised chihuahuas, poodles, and cocker-spaniels - I was never bitten by those animals.

No, I don't think I have been bitten by a an animal. I have always had pets, & have numerous pets at the moment. My cat has scatched me when she is in one of her moods. I know a cockatiel will buy people who stick their fingers in the cage. Scamper, our fluffy dark tortie, will attack other dogs & bite people who really annoy her. Last weekend, my SIL was here with her little maltest/shitzu. She is a gorgoues dog, so loving &friendly. We have known her for years. My 9 year old stepdaughter was sitting next to her & patting her on the head. All of a sudden, the dog lurched towards her face & bit her around the eye. We were so shocked, & she has never does this before. I think my step daughter must have patted her too hhard, in some place where it hurt.

i've never been bitten by an animal. but about 2 years ago, when my son was 2 years old, we were in the administration office of the building where we live in and one of the staff there had a small dog, the toy type dog i don't exactly know the breed. while i was talking with the staff, my son squatted on the floor at eye level of the dog. he was talking to the dog in a sweet way then suddenly, the dog bit him on the cheek. my son was at first in shock, so was i and my husband. then when i carried him, he began to cry. we brought him to the doctor and had anti-rabies and anti-tetanus shots. since then, my son never liked dogs. or any animal with fur at that. especially the smaller ones...

I have been bitten by a dog of my neighbor, my very nice neighbor deny the incidence, knowing that while i was bitten he was there all along. I was rushed to the hospital for treatment and they gave anti rabies vaccine. Although i have bitten i still own a dog and i love her. Maybe that dog of my neighbor was never treated good that is why they bite people.

I had two cats for a while, and one of them always tried to bite me when I wanted to pet him. He managed to nab me a couple of times, nothing horribly bad, but it stung a little bit. His claws were pretty ferocious too.

I had a bird named bird. we had two parakeets. my great grandmother had named them "bluey and greeny" after the colors they were. but i renaimed them to "punk and bird". Punk Bird. cause they both were pains in the butt! Anyway... My cat attacks me all the time, but usually playfully. My parents cat is the same way. My dog I grew up with bit me once though. I woke her up by accident once and scared her and she bit me. On the face. It wasn't bad though and it was my own fault because you know I spooked her and I was just a kid I didn't know much better. I've never been attacked any other time though.

I was bitten by a golden monkey! It was on the fences and I tried to touch it, but it bit me! I could feel its fangs piercing into my hand. I was attacked by a dog when I was a kid. It chased me all the way down my street and bit my arm 3 times in the process. The worst part though was when I went to the hospital and they froze my arm for a tetanus shot which they proceeded to give me in the butt...why the heck did they freeze my arm? I couldn't walk for a week.
