yesterday our female beagle "Juliet" slipped her collar and got hit on the road.. i have been crying for the past two days.. my husband saw her get hit and the person never slowed down or even tried to avoid hitting her.. and it was in a 35 mph zone with no other traffic and able to see both ways.. kinda makes me tink thhat they didnt even care.. why do people do that why are there people out there that just dont care?? she was pat of our family not just a dog running loose.. she wasnt allowed to do that she got lose on accident.... we were good parents to her and to think they could just take her life and not think twice about it.. my husband is totally devastated.. i have never seen him cry like this before he has been sobbing last night and tonight she slept with us everynight and now she isnt there.. can anyone out there explain to me why people are so cruel when it comes to animals??

Because they are heartless b@stards that only think about themselves...
I am so sorry for your loss, its devastating I know.. Cry and let it out, theres no harm in that..Its like a part has been ripped from your soul...I lost my doberman boy just over a year from old age, and i still cry now when I think of him...Never loose the memories...Im sure that she is up there watching down on you...Pick a star for her..

thank you so much i dont think i am ever going to stop crying.. i keep thinking she is up there with my mom looking down watching us.. it just hurts so bad knowing she didnt have to die that way.. thankfully we have lots of pictures of her

Oh man thats so sad!! Im sorry for your family. People who do that dont care about a darn things but themselves. I never have been able to figure out why they could do such a thing. Its just horrible. Maybe they had a difficult life {which is no excuse} and feel they can take it out on an animal because an animal cant retaliate.
Once again Im sorry about your baby.
