What Part Of Please Don't Spam My Discussion Don't You Understand?

I started a discussion earlier asking fellow myLot members how they went about getting more referrals for programs such as myLot. In my discussion, I clearly stated, "Please don't spam my discussion with your own referral links though. I am not interested in having you use my discussion to try to promote your programs."
It really irritates me when people can't get it through their heads that this means that they need to leave their referral links out of the discussion.
I can't decide whether they read only the headline, and might have missed the statement about not spamming my discussion, or if they just didn't care.
Obviously, they either didn't read the guidelines or else they just didn't care about those either...

I have found if you write more than 2 sentences that a lot will not read it. It is a shame that some people are too lazy to read. LOL

It's sad, but people really don't read. I was on another site, reading a friend's post about a book she just read. Basically she said the book was awful and all these folks commented "thanks, sounds like a good read." I wrote her an email because I just couldn't believe it. She said that she was shocked too, she thought she was going crazy from the way that people responded.
When it comes to referrals, people will do just about anything to get someone else to sign up, so I am not surprised at the response, despite your comment.
