Montreal, such a wonderful city

I have been living in Montreal for almost 8 years now and I really love this city. Montreal hosts so many ethnicities which makes living in it a real cultural experience. I have been to the African nights festival last Sunday. The festival was meant to be about African music, but I sought people from many races there. It was a very enjoyable experience. I have enclosed a photo that I took when attending this festival.

Where did you live prior to Montreal? I'm thinking of moving to Canada and trying to get as much information as possible so that I know how life is there and possibly what I will need to do.
