Smart Philippines recently launhed its MyTv service last july 24, 2007. Unfortunately, among the currently (common) units available in the market, only the Nokia N92 is DVBH- capable. Another upcoming phone is the N77.
This is so unfortunate coz only a very few number of people will be able to use this service, which is free until August 31, 2007. After which, Smart plans to charge about 500 pesos a month for the service.
Anyone with N92 out there? can you tell us what the MyTv service is like?

oh really glad to know that because my husband uses a phone with same capability in japan the problem is when softbank launches that unit i know we don't have that same technology yet that's why he's sad that he wouldn't be able to use his unit here. by the way his using sharp 705 hope soon, that unit could be open line with new technology here so when he come home he would be able to use it here.

Im not sure about sharp 705. But if it has the dvbh technology, you should be able to receive MyTv. Perhaps your problem now will be to make the phone openline so you can use it with the smart network. You can check this site: www.gsmarena.com
Go to the phone finder and look for phone with the dvbh technology, hopefully you phone might be on it. goodluck
thanks for the reply
