I intend to travel to Australia and since I'm there, I intend to visit some of my online friends for the very first time. I just need some advise from you guys out there. Would it be appropiate to bring them some gifts as friendship or getting to know gesture? What is best to take with me for a small token for them. I dont know, according to my culture, it is best when you visit someone from overseas or when they come and visit you for the first time, to give them something as a rememberance. Does anyone practice this?. Help, I have only a week to get those gift. Thank you.

Hey. Personally, I would give a gift that Ive made myself, its seems more apreciated... Well thats speaking from my own experience... Its up too you, maybe you'd like to give something that signifies where your from eg; a post card... Just a thought...

sure a gift would be great to bring. in fact being that they are On-Line friends..how about something like a pretty/fancy mousepad? be far easier to travel with than candies or bulkier items. AND it would be relevant since you converse with them on the computer.
