Do you like soap opera?

I like watching soap opera very much.I often watch soap opera at night with my mom,she likes them too.Sometimes we guess how the story will go on while watching,sometimes we chat about the actors,actresses in the soap opera,I think it's OK.We enjoy watching soap opera because it's a good way to relax ourselves after a hard working day.But I often hear that someone says it's a waste of time and energy,they think people can not benefit from soap opera,and think it's something skin-deep.
What's your opinion?Do you like watching soap opera?

I like watching soap opera too, i also hear that people always says it's a waste of time, but it doesn't matter,I don't care,i just still watch. Everyone has their own way to relax and entertain,so just do what you want to. For me,i think i also can learn something from soap opera, the way of communication,how to deal with relationship,different culture and know different careers.

im one of those (apparantly lol) rare females that absolutly despises soap operas. i just find the plots absurd and the acting annoying. ive known a number of women that get so involved and would get angry or sobbing at things that would be happening on the show..i just never got remotly interested enough to sit thru an entire episode.
