Hi, Dbhattji... don't forget to set the touch-pad unactivated! It'll make you more confortable without worry about touching the pad when you're typing or something.
Enjoy your new mouse! ^_^

hello dbhattji,
yes you can do it.even i do it at times when i get irritated with the touchpad.i feel more comfortable with my mouse.get a mouse with a usb attachment.just plug into your laptop and you are ready to go.a wireless mouse would be better and if you have a bluetooth enabled laptop then you can go for wireless bluetooth mouse.if not then you can use a usb bluetooth adapter also.it works best and is very much compatible.

Absolutely. You can use a USB mouse with your laptop. It's the most common way. I'm using my laptop now and my mouse is a laser mouse with the USB plug. You just need to plug it in your laptop and it can work right away.

Yes you can attatch a mouse to your laptop.
I have a laptop and I remember the first time I got it. I was really not liking the whole touchpad for a mouse, but it grew on me and I really love it now. I would never use a mouse again.
But, if you have to have one, you can. Most laptops have a place in the back where you can hook one up. Just like you would on a computer.
