True Love/Friendship

I have known my husband now for over 15 years. We were briefly not together for over 7 years to be exact. We have been back together now for almost 3 years and married for almost a year...
We had a son together he is 14 and since being back together have had our beautiful baby daughter who is now 14 months old
He has a son from a previous marriage who I adore and love as my own..
I fell more in love with my husband the night we lost our third child together...It almost claimed my life and instead of running away like he has done in the past he stayed by my side..We have had our struggles since but I know true love when I feel it...I look forward to getting to know new friends and people on MyLot....

I am so glad that your Husband stood by you
My Ex Husband never did we where married for 21 years then I was diagnosed with my Illness again he ran away from it and let me cope alone, then on my 40th Birthday which was a few Days after finding he went out with his Friends after saying he had no money to buy me a present and that is what made me decide to end it
I suffered verbal and mental abuse with him for all those years but I was a very scared Person and never stood up for myself but my Illness gave me the strength
Now I am with a wonderful Man who supports me all the way and is by my side Illness included he accepts it and helps me a lot and he treats me like a Person,

Awwwwww sweety I'm so sorry....You didn't deserve that at all..I am so very happy that you have found someone who loves you for the wonderful person you are and is willing to stand by you..Have had a run in with relationships of men who are controlling noone deserves that at all hugzzz to you

I honsestly believe that is what true love is supposed to mean...Someone who is willing to stand by you in good times and bad.. hugzzzz to you sweety thanks for being a good friend

Oh honey that is so great. Touch in my heart. I know that true love will be yours or mine. Friendship is true love but true love isn't always friendship. That is miracle of love. U must believe it forever.

yeah....i hope i will marry my true friend. But i don't know yet, who is my husband next time??? i'm still young and i'm a student....so, i don't think to marry, so on....how about you???

That is so touching... I am very happy to know that you two have made it threw some really rough times and he was willing to stick by you.. That shows to tell you he is in love with you and he wants to be with you.. God bless you two and your family.. I hope for many many more years for you's to be happy..

thank you we still are having our rough patches as of late but I'm trying very hard to remember how he was that night and the man he was the loving man that stood by my side I'm sure we will make it over this hump and I do love him is that night that had me fall more in love with him

Congratulations!! Its always cool when couples are able to work things out like you two have done! How wonderful for your children as well! You have only been here a short time but I have read some of your threads. I'm sure you will fit right in. There are some really caring people here. I also noticed that right off you dealt with one that was not so.....sorry that happened to you. Most are not like that one...actually that was the worst I've seen here.

It always feels good to know that there is someone who cares. Iam too young to talk about this, but my parents have had no problems till now and we r happy.

I am so happy that you and your hubby are so happy hun. We both got married the same year and I hope we both have a long lasting marriage! My hubby and I had a rough on and off relationship for 6 years before making it official and getting married last March. Happy Early Anniversary as I know it is next month (August)! Love & Hugzz

Yes, we have definitly had the rough patches in our marriages, but every relationship is like that. Even the best of friends have a disagreement sometime. Not sure on how to celebrate, my hubby abd I didn't really do anything spectacular lol. We just ordered in pizza and sent our daughter to bed early and we talked about how we would make it to the next year. I was feeling a little iffy about if we would make it to next year a month or so ago, but now I know we will. Communication really is the key in any relationship and I am so happy and relieved to know that we are going to make it! I am also estatic for you and your hubby, again happy early 1 year anniversary hun. Love & Hugzz

I am very happy for you and your hubby also...God knows you and I have both have had the rough patches in both our marriages but I guess it's what makes us stronger as couples thank you for the Happy Anniversary for next month any suggestions of how to celebrate??hehe

Awwwww thanks! Yes, that is a great idea! When you and he get into it or he hurts you try your hardest to think about the positives. Why you said I do, how he was there when you lost your bg, etc. Dwelling on the negatives will get you to divorce court quickly. Just my thoughts anyhow. I try and do the same with my hubby when times get tough! It is however a great feeling knowing that you will get through it instead of wondering if you will. Thinking and knowing are two very different things and I am so happy that we both know and can feel secure in our marriages! Love & Hugzz
