Do you often buy lottery ticket?

Nope I actually rarely buy lottery tickets because I know what bad luck I have and I know theres pretty much no chance that I will win but I do buy one once in awhile since they sell them where I work I usally would just buy one ticket 5 the maximum. I plan on buying one tomorow when I get my pay check because after reading all of these threads just makes me want to buy one lol.

I think playing the lottery is a horrible idea, unless it is done for fun, and the money used to buy the tickets are not needed for anything else. The chances of winning the jackpot are worse than the chances of getting struck by lightning. People get excited when the win 20 dollars, but what does that matter if they spent 100 dollars beforehand. I say if someone wants to be rich they should start a business. It's not guaranteed, but it carries with it a much higher success rate. Also greed is bad. Wanting money is not necessarily greed. When people want money and think reasonably they have a better chance at reaching that goal than if they become greedy and start taking uncalculated risks. Unless you understand the annual cost of lotto tickets and the extremely small chance you have of a substantial win, and can deal without the money wasted, then the lotto isn't the best idea. At least with the stock market or poker there are things that can be done to get a small statistical edge. That edge can be exploited many experiences and the one with the edge wins in the long term. With the lotto, you never have the edge. I never buy lotto tickets.
