Harry Potter 8? Is it possbile

I would have liked another chapter on the 7th, so that we can find out what happened after Harry killed Voldermort, before thew 19 yrs later chapter, so we ccould find out what happened to the school, who became the head and so on... But otherwise I dont think there could be a 8th book.

Is it possible for a 8th book? hmm...I don't think so...since J.K Rowling already gave the chapter "Nineteen Years Later" :) That's the closure.

Nah, I don't think there will be an 8th in this series. WhY? First off, she already did an epilogue 19 years later.. yah know.. We all know that Harry ended up with Ginny and Ron with Hermione. I don't think you can start a book with them towing their kids to in their adventures/misadventures, or read about their marital woes and household chores. JK Rowling grew them all up so there's no more chance for Harry to do his adventures. Besides, Harry's ultimate enemy is Voldemort, whom he already killed in book 7, so who's he gonna fight next? HP is not like a Nancy Drew genre where she 'fights' different villains all the time and she doesn't have an ultimate enemy to fight, even from the beginning, Harry's enemies we're all Voldemort. Maybe a spin off from them where in it will become adventures of their children, so generally new characters, new villains, new hero's maybe just the same setting Hogwarts, and some old characters but generally different.

Oh no... please JKR spare us an 8th book coz I've enough waited for the 7th one and I haven't even started to read it! Imagine now how many years we'll have to wait for the 8th one to publish..(",) So stop planning the plot or anything else!

I'm sure you read it but I won't give it away anyway. The way book seven ended it looks like the glimpse into the future covered it all. Howver, they can go past that if they wanted. I think it's done. We can always go the prequel route.

No, I don't think any book 8 is coming up. I think JK Rowling said so too. Anyway, any sequel to the 7 books would probably be very anti-climactic already.

I have read the last book yet. But, I am very sure that 8 installment of Harry Potter series would definitely come. The concept is very innovative and gives chance to writer to keep innovating.

the higher harry potter goes the more its getting too complicated and i dont seem to like it.. its really getting too impossible but im happy they could come up to that kind of movie...

with the ending of harry potter 7, i personally don't think there'll be hp8th. if i will be J.K Rowling, i'll let harry rest now and concentrate on his being a father. haha.

its a nice series to watch.....but if they will make 8th part then that will be hectic......this gonna confusing.......harry potter have got lot of hype by his movie.....but it is going to be disgusting

I don't think there will be an 8th book. Unless it's "Harry Potter and Mid-life Crisis". Even J.K. Rowling said so.

The higher we get in the book series the better they get. I would really hope there would be an 8 but it is impossible, i mean, look at the three last words of number 7; "All was well." J.K really wanted to finish the series and now she's done it. She has also said in an interview that there wont be any more harry potter books, atleast not for a while. I'd like to see him fight the bad guys as an auror :)
