I don't know about this season. It's definately different from the rest. The cast seems to care about eachother, well, maybe no HUNG. Even Howie & Joey were complimenting eachother's food. You pick. I'm a Casey fan - she's a spicey one!

I think it's going to come down to Trey and Hung... maybe CJ. I agree that CJ has been hanging in the middle of hte pack and he's going to surprise people soon. I don't think that any of the girls this season really have what it takes to come down to the final 4.

I'm lukewarm about this season so far. It lacks something the other two seasons had. There's no one person I have been impressed with. There's no one I'm really routing for or anyone who annoys me like in the first two seasons. I don't think the chefs in this season have the same calibre as the ones in the previous two seasons. I do not like Hung, though he doesn't give me a negative reaction like his friend Marcel did. He doesn't seem to have a food point of view like Marcel did. I do think he's arrogant and he thinks his food rates above everyone elses. For that, the judges will probably keep him on so there's more drama. I really enjoyed the special that aired this past week with alumnae chefs from all three seasons. I especially liked the spoof Elan, Elia, Cliff, Marcel, and Sam did on Judges' Table. I was ROTFLMAO! I was more impressed with the cooks on this season's The Next Food Network Star on FoodNetwork. They had a special bond, and it was hard to choose a favorite.

I think you're right. It lacks drama. But I also haven't been overly impressed with the dishes. Speaking of Steven, did you catch the Restaurant Wars re-do? Steven was the sommelier for Quatre. Dale tried to tell him to tone it down.

I think that what it lacks is that person or persons that everyone hates. In season 1 it was kind of a tie between Stephen and Tiffany. In season 2 it was Marcel.

I love this show! And I like Casey. I didn't at first, but I do now. Lia was another one I really liked. It has been fun seeing Howie and Joey change their relationship so drastically. When it started, I thought I would really like Micah. But by the second episode, she really got on my nerves. I think the final two will be Tre and C.J.. And I think C.J. will win. I picked C.J. because he has really not been very high, and also not very low. And I think he can surprise everyone. Now, the person who I would LIKE to see win of the remaining chefs, would be Howie or Tre. Hung can go hang for all I care.

It'll be interesting tonight. Down to Casey, Hung, and Dale. If it were solely on personality, I'd vote for Dale. Hung seems to be the most technically skilled. But last week the judges said He was not present in his cooking. He may win simply for the fact that he's borne to immigrant parents. One minute to go! Looking forward to hearing what you think about the results!

I hate Casey. I think whether I like people or not doesn't effect if they'll win or not to me. I think the top three will be Hung, Sara and Howie. I really dislike Hung but I think that's exactly the reason he'll last. He'll be just like Marcel, dislikeable, hauty, full of himself, but ultimately he is a talented chef. I think that he'll go far if only for the fact that he is a pain in everyone's you know what and that makes for good tv.

I don't think Casey will make it either - she's nasty, right? I hope HUNG doesn't make it - it's such a jerk (I don't know if he's worse than Marcel... lol) HOWIE is a good choice too. Which Sara?

I'm not sure of her last name. Not the one from Jamaica, but the other one. She made the bbq lettuce wraps. I think she has a nice clean flavor profile on all of her dishes.

I do agree in most of the posts that this is a very different season compared to the first 2. I also think that the chefs in season 3 are very different in the sense that they are in the extremes! There are chefs that aren't really good(cheers to Clay!) and chefs that are exceptional(good job Hung!). I am not a Hung fan because I don't like his attitude. If attitude aside from plate will be considered. I will choose Casey as winner. She is not classically trained but she is exceptionally good in cooking. I did route for Sara, though she is not that good in presentation and taste as well as Micah who was eliminated early in the game. I think I liked them because their foreigners.

Thanks for the best response! Did you see this past week's episode? Casey and Sara N really looked pissed when the Hummer limo drove up to the catering trucks. I knew there would be a twist when Padma told the group they would have the night off to experience Miami's night life. I felt badly that Sara N was voted off, but she really showed her lack of resilience when she grumbled in Fresh Market and then said she felt "degraded" at Judges' Table. I'm looking forward to the restaurant wars in the upcoming episode.
