Have you been to a grocery store recently. Have you noticed how many different kinds of cereal there are? Why do cereal companies keep competing for a better cereal that is pretty much the same as the competitors flavors? The main cereal companies are Post, Kellogs, and General Mills. Popular old time cereals that my family still love are Cheerios, Corn Flakes, Frosted Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, and the Life cereals, and the Chex cereals. I sort of work in a super store with a grocery store in it. And I stock the shelves, so I really know what I am saying here, there has got to be about 100 supposedly different kinds of cereals. Don't forget about the generic brands as well and they pretty much got the flavors down pat for all the name brand cereals out there. Just look how many different flavors of oatmeal there is these days, I mean it's a bit crazy. Back in the day you would add real fruit to your cereal if you wanted more flavor. Do you have any clue to how many different Fruit Loops there is made by different companies and they all pretty much taste the same. So why change something that was working out just fine? I would like some other folks opinions on what you think on this matter of to many different kinds of cereals.
