Heels or Flats?

My previous company required us to wear smart business casual clothes during the week so I wore heels almost everyday though it's not required, I felt the need to wear them to match my business casual clothes. At the end of the day my poor feet gets so beat and tired! Heels are really uncomfortable though I've gotten used to them. But my feet especially my heel developed cracked skin!! (yikes!) Now, I can wear casual attire at work so I dont really have to wear heels and I think I like it better because my feet are less tired and looks much prettier now.
Girls! Which would you choose - wearing heels and looking really sleek and elegant or wearing comfy flats that reduce elegant stylish look.

Hey. I prefer to wear Flats alot, especially for casual wear or around the house, or maybe when I go grocery shopping or to pick our children up from one of there activities... High heels, I wear heels when we're out at a wedding, a birthday or function of any kind...
