I work in a grocery store as a stocker. I can't understand why we need to have so many different kinds of soups. What ever happened to making soups at home from scratch? Now a days if you get hungry for a soup that mom used to make for you, you can more than likely go to the grocery store and find a similar one to it in a can. Because this is the kind of world we live these days.
There has to be over 100 different kinds of soups in your local grocery store. You should try spending a night trying to stock all the different kinds of soups that are available in your local grocery store, this is not an easy task. There are so many different soups, I mean you have your fat free, sodium free, healthy ones, regular kinds, and then there is the different companies that compete against each other.
What is this world coming to anyway?
Is there anyone out there with any comments on all the different kinds of canned soups there are in your local grocery stores, please feel free to give your comments on this subject.

As a food loving, contest cooking, do it yourself kinda guy... I have to agree with you that "convenience" foods have progressively made people lazier and poorer, to boot!
In your job, I'm sure that you see how the prices of those so-called "food stuffs" are continually rising along with the weight totals of it's consumers... I'm not dissing Large People, no way, because some people ARE naturally big and healthy, it is those who are big and unhealthy (and unhappy) that are my concern...
I say that if you really want to control your Life, along with your weight and other things... it's time to get back into the kitchen and start making your own foods from scratch... fall in Love with the idea that you will become that much Free-er and Happier, too! :)
