My daughters wedding on Monday went well. Andy;s family was there as was the wife & I. Now heres a few funny facts about this day. The judge was a very nice/friendly judge joking around. He seemed to even flirt with my daughter jokingly. Now when all the vows etc were said he said, "Andy you may now kiss the bride." Well Andy being the shy type of man he is kissed Mandy with the tiniest peck on the lips. The judge then said, "If you aren't going to kiss her Andy I will." HAHAHAHA! We all laughed at that. Anyhow fun was had by all this day. My youngest grandson sat at the judges bench swinging wrounbd in the chair as the service was held. I loved that. I was taking photos with my daughters camera and the wife used mine so I don't have a wedding kiss photo to share at this point and time. Now we all went to Arbys after the wedding. Yes my Daughter wanted to eat Arbys. Well that's a whole other discussion. But whom should we run into there? Yeah you guessed it. The judge. HAHAHAHA! Thanks all. I'll start a discussion about the casiono soon also.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Oh my- how fun it seems and so down to earth- A nice cheap wedding- spend the money elsewhere- I agree- I’m glad everything went well without any problems- Hope you won a lot of money at the casino! Congrats on a new son-in-law!

Apparently he didn't win a lot of money. Didn't even like this casino.

I am very pleased your daughters wedding went so well. We also got married at a registery office with just a Judge. The judge had told my then 6 year old step daughter to walk like a princess down the ailse. She ran....
What is it about Arby's that attracted your daughter to it?

What a special day! They are definately on the right track for a long and happy life together. God bless them both!
Arby's... now that is too funny, but it worked! Why spend the money on something you don't really want??! My hubby and I always teased that we were going to have Little Debbies snack cakes for our wedding. We may do it if we ever renew our vows. LOL!

Your daughter's wedding sounded like it was nice and casual...and maybe because of that was a much more relaxed atmosphere than a "strict" church type wedding...That's funny how you bumped into the judge at Arby's..LOL

Poor Andy looked frightened in the picture. That is funny about Arbys, after my hubby and I got married we all went to Wendys with the minister to get something cold to drink. Then to his house for homemade pizza, the minister was a friend of ours.

Oh, that sounds so nice and friendly, and it seems like a good start to a good marriage. I think it is so funny that the judge was so friendly and so common with all of you. He certainly was not a stuffed shirt. I am glad that you let the grandson be himself, it will be a little thing that will always make him happy to think about. I hope you bought a round of Arby's for everyone.!! Your daughter sounds like a nice girl.

Actually I didn't eat as I had just had breakfast a few hours earlier. The wife ate very little as did a lot of others. The daughter was starving and that's the first place she saw actually. Here's a shot of Hunter at the Judges desk during the ceremony. It looks like he is intently working on the computer which wasn't even on. HAHAHA!!

That sounds like it was a really fun day!!!! The judge sounded like a riot!!! I wonder if he's available to do a wedding in Canada in a few months! ;-) That would be fun. He sounds like the kind of person my fiance and I would like, for our wedding.

You know, the best wedding I went to ...the invitation said - ties not allowed, socks and shoes optional.
We spend so much time worrying about the planning we forget the meaning of the event. Good luck to your daughter. Glad you enjoyed the wedding.

congratulations on your daughter's wedding! you must be so proud! It's so sweet that you have a shy son in law haha.
looking forward to seeing those happy photos! take care and i think the judge must be having fun cos it's not often that he gets to do this? like most of the time it must be quite dreary handling crime cases and the other depressing like.

It looks like your son-in-law was either getting permission or looking for a cue as to what to say! I'm glad the wedding turned out nice and everyone enjoyed themselves. All weddings should turn out that way! I like Arby's too, but maybe not for my wedding meal, lol! Thanks for sharing and posting the pic.

It sounds like it was a great day by all including the judge. hahahaha
It sounds like she got the wedding she wanted including eating a Arbys. We do not have an Arbys here in our town so that is a place I like to go to when we go out of town.
I will rate the photo soon.
Congrads to the whole family.

Ooh what a coinc, my brother just got married on Monday. We also had a funny moment during the "You may now kiss the bride", our pastor said the words and then right as my brother was going the pastor put his hand in the way and said "wait a minute!" we all just froze, not sure what went wrong, and then since all our family is Spanish speaking (only English speaking people there were the bride's side of the family and some friends) the pastor said it in Spanish, "Puede besar la novia". Everyone laughed, so funny!
Congrats to your daughter and Andy (and you)! :)
