Did you end up marrying your high school sweetheart?

I did marry my high school sweetheart. I think the reason most high school relationships end like that is because after graduation "real life" starts. It's hard enough to keep a relationship together these days and even harder when you go into it naively thinking that your history together will be enough. My marriage only lasted 3 1/2 years because we were yoo young and stupid to keep it togeher. We are still good friends though. I am now with someone that I did actually meet while I was still in high school but that doesn't really count for this discussion because I only met him then. We never even spoke to each other for another 2 years.
