You are true. But, for some who get grey hair very early, these dyes are a rescue. Even few of my friends started greying at 21. I don't feel that it is wrong if they use color. But, I dont believe in those who are very old and just want to look young. I believe in aging gracefully.

Yes, I too like to be natural. But, sometimes I color. I see to that the hair is taken proper care.
Thanks for your thought.

I use Herbatint in Crimson red. It's a fantastic bright colour and it's better for your hair than a chemical dye. Also, most chemical dyes are tested on animals so this one has a moral advantage.

I like herbal products. I know that they are the best for us. Are they available worldwide ? Do they come in different shades like dark brown. (I use this shade)
Let me know more about it. I never knew that herbal products come come in shades ?
Have a nice day!

You can get it in all sorts of colours, but also if you want a natural product that is really good for your hair, check out the henna "Cacas" that Lush make. They do a brown one and it makes your hair really shiny!

i have had my hair colored one year back. i had colored it mahogany and the hue is still there. everyone say i look good. however, i would not color it again. i am not liking the color thing anymore. it's difficult to maintain aswell.

yes, its important to condition the hair since coloring goes harsh on the hair.

Coloring is easy but maintaining is a little tough. I use good hair oil and good conditioner for a healthy hair. It works.
Thanks for your reply

i never color my hair.but i recommend if you want to color your hair go see a stylist. Haircolor you buy and use at home may damages your hair too easily. Your stylist can analyze your hair condition and formulate what will work best for your hair.care must be taken with our hair!

It's a great idea to go to a saloon. You are indeed right that hair should be properly taken care.

I color my hair myself when I am on a tight budget or when I want to save money. Recently I fall in love with blue black color from Garnier. Garnier is a cheaper brand yet it gives a really nice color. It has the blue in the black and therefore the hair looks more glossy and shiney after dye. I am sure I have some gray hair somewhere but the main purpose for me to dye my hair usually is to get a new look. I get bored with my hair style and color too easily and I need to freshen myself up from time to time just to have a different color on the hair.

Dear lavenderbloom
Yes I used to color my hair .. but I have stopped doing that from the last one year .. because I am waiting for the colour to fade from my hair .. seriously it's been more than a year and the colour is not going from my hair .. I want to color my hair again .. but I wish the earlier colour to go completely from my hair. I use -- Golden Brown shade of Loreal .. It's really good and it makes the hair soft as well.

Have you have used permanent hair color or a temporary one? I thought these hair color never go. I do not find coloring your hair a bad thing unless u use a good quality. Loreal is a good brand.
Good luck. Enjoy coloring.
