Have you ever wondered why they never made a third Riddick Movie? I alway thought they would do one about Riddick going to underverse and kicking butt to get Kira back... what do you think? What would be your plot line?

Technically there were 3 movies made. An animated film was made that showed the events taking place between Pitch Black and then The Chronicles of Riddick.

Yes, I wonder about that too- i am quite disappointed since i really liked this series. This is one of the movies that made me love Vin Diesel. He was so awesome here.

There is another movie to be made. It's unsure whether or not it will be, but it's an unfinished trilogy at this point in time. The people involved with the others have said they want to create the third and final movie, it's just a matter of when, and whether there will be a chance to make it given production and other such barriers.

Pitch Black was an annoying film to watch, the second part The Chronicles of Riddick was worst than Pitch Black. There was an animation film The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury released which I didn't even think of watching it. They are even planning to release the 3rd part, I don't know how people watch this kind of films and make it a hit ....
