buying new shoes = 3 new toys for my cat!

oh god,shoeboxes.mine love those.especially if you take one corner and zoom them around in it LOL my blue sits in them,but since he's such a big boy,he looks like a muffin in it. they find toys everytime somebody goes shopping,pretty much.the new thing right now was a plastic hamper just bought,it has holes in the side so they take turns playing "footie" through them with each other.

LOL! I can just imagine it! All my cats love plastic carrier bags - when he was younger Sasha (on my avatar), always used to somehow get his head stuck through the handles, and run around the room with the bag behind him! And little Lily adores cardboard boxes! I think almost everything in our house is a cat toy - even this computer!! My 5 have have somehow taken over the house - but I wouldn't have it any other way because they are my babies:-))

I love to see how cats are so playful with silly little things unfortunately I have cat that just will not play, I have bought him toys and given him many things but he just looks at it as if to say "well what now?"...your kitty sound lovely.

OMG, are you talking about my kitten? My kitten is the same, she is so happy with new bags inspection and all possible boxes are hers....

LOL - I totally know what you mean! My youngest cat Moses - loves to play with shopping bags. Though on more that one occasion he's got himself in a panic 'cause he's got the bag hooked around his body and thinks that running around the house like a mad kitty will help get the bag off. Silly cat. So I try not to let him play with the too much as I'm afraid he'll give himself a heart attack. LOL He likes boxes too - but it's Leo that really loves boxes, baskets, tubs, you name it. If he can set in it - though he don't fit - he will. When I first got him I had this bread basket. Just a small little round basket we would put bread it. Well he got it off the table once while we were at work and took it over! He was so cute in that basket too! He would force himself in it until I gave it to a friend of ours who got a new kitty. Wish I would have kept it though but I didn't know where would get another cat. And of course they both love shoelaces, ribbon, yarn, robe belt, if it's dangly...they think it's their toy. *The picture is of him shortly after he commandeered the bread basket. Ha! Reggie Cat strikes again! He is so awesome. Is he trying to smoosh himself into the box? Cats are so cool cause they can make toys out of anything. Saves you some money, eh? What kind of shoes did you get?

My cat loves to play with my shoes as well. Strangly enough he likes to stick his head in the actual shoe.

cats can be so much fun sometimes and so entertaining! it is funny to watch them because unlike dogs, cats think they are so much cooler than humans!
