Spiritual Cat

Again on the news is a story of a cat that seems to be able to predict when someone is about to pass away. I a Nursing Home the resident cat seems to know when one of the residents is about to pass on, it goes into the room about 15mins before, curls up with then until they pass away, I read of this happening a couple of years ago at another nursing home where they had a number of resident cats that did the same thing. This further convinces me cats and maybe even dogs have spiritual connections, this so proves that there is so much that we humans do not understand.

I watched the news and found this a bit of great news to share with the public. Humans think they know everything, and that animals do not have emotions or reasoning. But, they have more than us.

I think our pets, and animals are very attuned to the feelings of the human. They just seem to sense our moods somehow. I've even read about animals sensing disasters. It's like they just know.

I heard about this. I thought that it was interesting. I know that my cats know when I am sick. They stay with me and the only time that they leave me is to use the litter box or eat.

They not only have nine lives, they also have a third sense.

i heard about the news too , i think there must be something a human creature spreads when hes about to die , but other people just cant recieve the sign , and some animals (like this cat ) can. although , it stays a rather strange fenomenan :)

I always knew cats, and other animals, had way more intelligence than everyone gives them credit for. They have that telepathic thing going on, and I happen to think it's awesome. Just like when my dog and two sheep started acting up just before the earthquake hit where my dad lived. The dog started barking and the sheep making their noise about 2 minutes before it hit. I think if they hadn't been there, my dad wouldn't have been able to get somewhere where he could steady himself through the whole thing.

yes i do believe cats and other animals see what we don't see. children do too, we all i imagine had imaginary friends, until we are told not to be silly i do believe as adult humans that we can also see, it just takes opening up to be able to

This makes me wonder if animals use more of their brain than humans do. Of course, human brains are larger and we never really utilize consciously the majority of our brains. It's a curious thing. Animals innately trust their instincts, which humans are often trained to not trust or at least want some kind of concrete proof to base decisions on. yet, i think we all have moments where we sense things, distress in others and often don't respond because we don't have the concrete facts to justify our feelings. I know when I have instincts that I might articulate to someone, it is often called an assumption. Your discussion points the mystery and wonder of life and why so many people love animals.
