Hi there..
Till this time i thought i am the one that wakes up, with my own snoring...Thank god.. there are a real good number of people like us.
But my sleep will continue, after that short break,as i soon fall in my bed, uncaring others.

I know what you mean.
Initially I thought I was the only one. And always find it amusing that I can actually wake myself up from my own snores.
Then by and by, I just got used to it and it never really bothered me.
As long as I get a good rest, it doesn't really matter.

ha ha ha... you are not alone whimsystoryteller!
I have done that myself on numerous occasions as well.
Most of the time it is during the long commute on the train or the bus.
But I have noticed that I do that sometime at night as well. I would be snoring so loud, I can actually feel the snore coming out of my mouth, and hear it shortly just before waking up.
Then I would chuckle and go back to sleep.

This only happens when I fall asleep while sitting up. It is SCARY! LOL!

The same for me. I only remember this happening when I fell asleep sitting up as well. I guess it happens because my body isn't in the right position to sleep.

I am mostly told that I only snore when I am exhausted.
I have only woken myself up ONE time snoring though lol. I was in the car with my mother driving home after a long night out, and my head was leaning back and over the the side of the head rest on the seat. I was half awake, half asleep and I made this sound and immediately sat up, looked at my mom, and asked her if I had just snored. She laughed and said "I.... think so" haha. It was weird

Fortunately, I've always been alone when it's happened to me. Usually, it is when I'm congested or when I've fallen asleep reading or in a sort of sitting up position. It is sort of funny, though.

no,i haven't.but sometimes my snoring wakes up other people who sleep with me .and taht person would take me awake to stop my snoring.in fact,i hate my snoring!

No, but I have awaken my self in a much weirder way. I talk in my sleep and sometimes I fight in my sleep. One early morning, I was dreaming that I was fighting with some girl. I don't even know who she was.
I don't remember what happened before, all I know is that I tried to kick her and I actually kicked my feet out and fell on the floor. Boy, what a way to wake up right? Silly me, I just laughed and climbed back into bed.
