how to handle a school bully????

what would you do if one day your child goes home from school with a black eye and tells you that his classmate did it and always picks on him and calls him names.

I would go to the school and talk to the teacher and the principal and the school board. If I did not see the bully disciplined and his behavior changing, I would also go the newspapers, perhaps the police department. If all that failed, self-defense classes for my child, possibly and most likely, changing schools. You can't tolerate bullies at school, they can destroy your children and make their lives a misery. I had it happen to me when I was growing up.

problems like this should be addressed by the schools right away, it will help both the aggrieved kid and the bully. thanks for your input.

I would talk to the teacher or I wold talk to the other parents mom. How old is your child?

oh no i'm a grandmother now. i have two grand children the girl is five and the boy is two. was just wondering how young parents will address this kind of situation.

I would report this bully to the school principal. He will proberly get expelled. I hate trouble makers like this.
