I think the smallest memory card now a days people actually USE is 256MB. I run on 1GB and Getting 8 GB for myself later.

if your asking for the memory of my mobile phone it is 512mb micro sd and if you were asking for my computers memory i have a 1gigabytes memory installed recently.since the price of memory differs only a bit it is much wiser to buy the highest memory you can afford to make the most out of your money's worth.
