What Do you think about the new movie Transformers?

It seemed to me like pretty much everything was different. =p I was very annoyed that Bumblebee wasn't smaller than the others, as well. And practically no one was the type of vehicle they were supposed to be. And what the heck was up with using Frenzy but not having Soundwave in the movie at all, when in the old show Frenzy was just one of the tapes that was associated with Soundwave? What really got me though was how stupid the Autobots acted during parts of the movie. I mean, that whole thing with them stomping around crushing things outside the kid's house? Sure, it was kind of funny, but it wasn't the kind of behavior that the Autobots would have had! And I'm frustrated that plotline was just so different... basically the whole Transformers belief system was left out of the movie. There was no Matrix, no "Til all are one", nothing. Just this stupid cube thing that never existed before. Okay I think I'm done ranting now. =P

i liked the small porsche car the best, dont know the name of him though, anyone know? he was on the autobots side

Yes, they did not follow the cartoon series exactly. I guess probably the director himself did not follow the series or maybe did'nt watch the original series :) I miss soundwave.... A pity he did'nt make it onto the big screen.

It's great but it kinda sucks a bit... i don't like the ending. it's like they didn't think of the ending that well, like they just rushed into doing it... It's basically like they built up the story up to a climax but failed to deliver a great ending - you're left saying (or thinking): "Huh? What just happened?!" or "What was that?" 1st of all Megatron looked like sh*t. He doesn't look respectable at all! He looked more like a bunch of scrap shiny metal. gads! even his voice sucks! why didn't they get the original Megatron voice? Did they think it was unmanly? Hello?! IF they got the voice actor for Optimus, it's only fair to get the voice actor of Megatron (nevermind Starscream)! Bumblebee was ok; Optimus was ok except for his actually having a mouth!!! Other parts of the movie are cool. The ending's just disappointing that's all. And well, i read or heard somewhere that if that movie was a cartoon, the Autobots would take the fight away from where there are people because that would be going against their principle or something. The story needs more development. Another thing i don't about the movie is they make you think the autobots are kind of slaves or underlings of Sam when they aren't in the original cartoons. They're more like their human representative on Earth. But no, they had to be underlings to a puny human being. agh. Okay i'll stop ranting now. The movie is good enough for first-time-Transformers-exposed people or those who don't know about the original cartoon series or it's first movie.

Yes i agree with you...it's kind lack of something. As a Transformers fan, i think they should make it as a like as the original version. For me the colour is not a big deal, but the character should be originalif not it will out of track. Unless they make a sequal and make and make it right from the biginning of the the story... But the action...huh..AAA man!
