Yes I have 100 mini orange trees I am just starting to bonsi they are 2 years old now. I have a cyanne pepper plant that is Bonis-ed that is 14 years old and always full of peppers not sure if you can bonsi a pepper plant but it sure is narly looking and very healthy. I dug it up from the garden 14 years ago and put it in a geenhouse and it still in the same pot.

sounds really nice, thats why i like them, they are ornamental as well. I bought my trees at seeding sets for £1.50 (approx. .75c) each for at least 6 seeds, out of that i have only got 1 tree from the first set(as my son accidentally knocked over the other 2 trees that had successfully made it past the first 6 months), i am hoping to have more from the other 2 sets.

My sister has a mini orange tree and I collect all the oranges every season and start more trees it takes over a month to germinate a orange seed. But the seeds make more then one tree most times!

I tried but they never grow. I do agree bonsai or any other plants have a therapeutic effect on the person who grows them. Can you tell me how to take care of them cos I lose a lot of money from buying them as they are expensive but they always die after few weeks.

i use rainwater to water them (make sure its at room temp.)from seeding cover pot with a glass and put in bright area, water every 2-3 days make sure temperature does not drop or rise dramatically when they are small. Sharp temperature decreases and frost can kill them, b4 starting pick your tree carefully, depending on how much care you can give it(some take a lot of care), for a beginner it is best to pick a hardy tree that can go outside or inside, and after it sprouts, in warm weather put it in the garden, then in late autumn/early winter bring it inside(they stay out so long because tis allows the growth of the tree to rest and get ready for next year). here are a few helpful sites: http://www.bonsaisite.com/ http://www.cyber-north.com/bonsai/index.html http://www.helpfulgardener.com/bonsai/ hope this helps
