Has Myspace Help Reunite you with Anyone?

Has Myspace helped you get back in touch with a friend or family member that you may have lost contact with?
I have been reunited with my brother after almost three years. Its kind of amzing how you can look andlook and can't find them but one day one myspace you get connected!! Just wondering if this has happened to any of you?

yes. i got called up to go to the Middle East (navy). i'd lost contact with my cousin--she's in California, im in Florida--and when i returned, a penpal in Australia told me about it. out of curiosity, i did a search for her. i found a person, in CA, but it looked nuin like her. i said hi, who i am, and asked if this was my cousin. turns out that she'd dyed her hair, and was doing some modeling in LA. the follwoing x-mas, we had a mini family reunion!

Oh my goodness, a friend of mine from elementary school contacted me & added me on Myspace. I haven't seen her in years and years! She is married, lives in Florida and has 5 kids now! I haven't received any messages from her in a while though. I also used the function where you search through your email address book contacts (like Yahoo or whatever) to find if friends are on Myspace. I found a couple friends who had moved away, however they haven't added me yet!

That's great for you and your brother!! Congrats. I prefer to stay hidden, so I'm private and my name isn't connected to my page....BUT, I went looking for a friend from high school and was so glad to find her. Since we reconnected we've spent more time together and keep up with on another.
