Train fares

How much do you pay in train fares? I live in England and have heard on the news that they are planning to raise the amount we pay to travel by train. It is already very expensive, but now the government are going to cut back funding so they are going to have to increase prices! I just wondered how much train fares are in other parts of the world.

Her in .....where i live it cost us $20 per round trip and 14 one way...what about you how much does it cost for you..Why not just get a car if the fares are gonna be too expensive..You know what im saying..

I don't drive I try to do my bit for the environment by using public transport as the government recommends, but it costs around £30 for a return trip to London and £7.50 to go to the nearest city bout half hour away
