what are your plans for the weekend?

Hello, I'm bored at work and am wondering what your plans for the weekend are? My plans are mainly room decorating. I'm planning to strip wallpaper and mow the lawn.....maybe spend a nice evening cooking myself a nice meal and watching a film/reading a novel.

My Mom is flying in for a 10 day visit to see my new house. I am so ecited to see her. We are going to go crabbing, and then on the boat. But I don't mind if we don't do anything but stay up late everynight and talk. Jodenton, you are ambitious this week end, do you think the wallpaper will come down easy? I had to do that once and it was awful, I couldn't get one whole strip to come off, only small pieces at a time. Took me so long to do that one room, I just painted over all the other rooms that had wallpaper. LOL

Well, I have my doubts!!!! Still, unless you're ambitious you never achieve greatness lol! or something like that! I'll give it a bash and see what happens. It is quite a large room....I'll let you know how I get on!

Well, I wouldn't say it came down easily....it took a lot of effort but I am proud to say that I completed stripping the wallpaper!! Yay! Did you have a good weekend with your mom? Was she impressed with your new house? Over the weekend my husband and I celebrated 1 year in our first house together. It was a special day!

My son is in a basketball tournament in a town about 2 hours away. So tomorrow morning I will be getting up bright and early to go watch him. I will spend the entire day there. It is called the Gus Macker. Last time he played, we spent from 8am-6pm at the tournament the first day. They keep playing if they win, so we never know how long we will be there. It will be a very long day. Sunday I will be taking my daughter to the lake for a picnic that a club I belong to is having. They have free food, games and prizes for kids and adults.

So far we don't have any plans for the weekend except that we are going to church on sunday. We might go out for coffee or something tonmorrow, to have a little time to ourselves, but aside form that and church on sunday, we have no plans for the weekend.

Well my weekend starts Thursday afternoon because thats when I get out of work I usually dont work on fridays or mondays so I have a four day weekend and of course I requested it lol I love having four days off. But what I do is usually me and my family go to maine and I go swimming on the beach play with my causins who I only get to see when I go there and play video games.

well we were going to go to the beach tomorrow because its been so hot, but it looks like it is going to rain, so maybe not, maybe we will just do some cleaning around the house, fun wow!!

To tell you the truth, I'm going to start cleaning up the house in a few minutes and then this weekend I'm going to get my haircut and go to my mom's house. I need to do a little catching up. But as for right now I need to get started on vacuuming up a little, haha.
