the use of a hotmail acount , and other propositions

hi , in this discussion i wanted to get the question how you use your hotmail account .For myself , i use it as my standard email , its my basic email adress , on wich i receive my real mails , and i really check. I know other people use it as an account on which they subscribe on all kinds of sites , to avoid being spammed by those sites into their real inboxes. What do you use hotmail for? and you use other providers as well , or you just keep up to one email adress? just something i'm interested in :) greetings
