Did you know that misuse of your cellphone can lead you to a terrible accident??Yes you must be wondering.."is that possible??".. But its 100% true and some cellphone explosions have been observed too!!
Scientists say it may occur due to the short circuit as a result of accomodation of moisture and dirt in our mobile device. The device can also burst if it is exposed to heavy temperature fluctuations over a short time duration.
Imagine if the cellphones bursts while we have it on ears!!.. They can be reason of our death too!!
Do you know any other reasons that can prove our cellphones to be fatal devices??And what about their prevention..

Do you ever watch "mythbusters" on TV. They did an experiement about cell phones causing a fire while pumping gas, and they said the myth was busted. But you know, I don't know if any myth is ever really busted. Who knows what could really happen. Just because it didn't cause a fire in one expriement, there are always those 1% odds that it could happen. Yeah, what if the phone blew up while you were talking! They also came out with a link to brain cancer a few years back, but who knows if that is really true either.

Well an incident occured where a guy just came out of his air conditionaed office and kept his cellphone on the dashboard of the car which was kept in the heat of the sun.
Guess wat.. a great explosion occured just because the cellphone encountered a steep rise in temperature!!

if you are wondered about this , plz think a bit. I dont think many people realise the danger which lies around them. This is a fact indeed , about the exploding and such , but you should realise such dangers are everywhere. Take your car for example , the gasoline , as well as the battery are able to explode , but did you ever think , oh god , my car could explode anytime:)
In fact , every device which stores energy is able to do severe damage , and thats not only your cellphone , but for example about your whole house (except if you live like in the stone age , and didnt invent the fire)
even your computer may explode the moment you are reading this ... ;)
greetz:)

Is there a method to your madness? Are you determined that those myLotters, who are not by the way from India, give up their cellphones because of some perceived danger? Look you have cheaper rates than most of us, you do not have to pay as much and some of you have two or three cellphones. So why tell us something that may not be true. There are cellphone forums that tell us that such a such a cellphone is not reliable. The only way that a cellphone can be dangerous, other than, hitting someone over the head with one, is that if a terrorist makes it so dialing one can cause a bomb to go off. You did not get rid of yours, did you? No, I thought not.

yeah we are hearing these kind of news too often these days and i guess in most of the cases it was a nokia handset! as i heard in news an expert suggesting one should avoid to charge his mobile phone for a long duration and also to charge it only when it alerts us to charge(i mean low battery indication).these days i have started to avoid keeping my cellphone with me while sleeping!:)

I think there's a better chance of getting hit by lightning. -_-
however, A lady got here ear taken off by that.
actually, a cell phone can blow up an entire petrol station
i also heard that talking on a cell phone too much gives you cancer because of the radiation, especially in the first few seconds of it connecting...

yes and recent even took place in india where a cell phone was exploded some times after its battery was changed and nokia is already investigating the incident. the explosion was so huge and loud that the room where it took place really looked like a war zone. Luckly enough the owner of the cell phone had just kept it on the table from his pocket when the explosion took place and thus he escaped. Experts think its the moisture and dirt which might have caused a short circuit leading to an explosion. its high time that the phone companies come up with sold guidelines so that this kinda of events could be reduced in the future!

Yeah dirt and moisture are two hardcore enemies of cellphones. And the cellphone companies are suggesting that we should not put plastic or leather covers on our cellphones, because they help in accumulation of dirt and moisture..
