Do you try to be truthful and honest most of the time?

I try to be truthful and honest when others ask for my views. I do try to tell them in as nice a way as possible, but I will not lie or tell them what they want to hear. Why do you think I have an eight instead of a nine or ten?

Yes, I am honest. If I am asked for an opinion, I will tell the truth, but if it is personal, I will first give a compliment. For instance, if I am asked an opinion about the suitability of a dress, I will say what a lovely colour hair she has and how a different colour would better suit her hair (or eyes or personality). I would not just say the colour doesn't suit her. I believe honesty is ALWAYS the best policy, regardless of the circumstances, but there are various ways of being honest. It is up to us to find the least hurtful way of telling the truth.

I am honest even if it's not the most popular answer. Also I don't talk about others behind their backs.....I say it to their face. So I truly am honest, and truthful. (I might sugar coat a few things so it falls softer on the one who requested the answer!)

well for your question yes I do.. I am honest when they are asking for my opinion.. If I think its Ugly I will tell you it is ugly.. But when it comes to things like somebody ask me about other's lives I tend to lie sometimes to avoid misunderstanding or I just ask the person to ask personally to the person in question.. :D

I try to be honest almost all the time, especially when it's a hugely important issue. If it's a sensitive subject between friends or family etc, then a little white lie can be used if it means I'm going to save someone's feelings from being crushed. I don't know if this is because I'm a lovely person or because I'm a wimp and don't want to get caught up in the conflict.
