Would you ever let your partner cut your hair. We've been pretty short of cash the last year or so so I thought I'd save myself £15 and get my husband to cut my hair. He's done it before and done a fairly good job but tonight I think he went a bit scissor mad and I've reverted back to my 90s bob that I had when I was about 10!

I don't think that my fiance would be willing to cut my hair if I asked him to. He needs a trim on his hair, but he's been putting it off for quite a while because it is a bit expensive. I offered to trim it for him, but he's a little bit leery of that option.

I let my fiance' trim mine all the time, but the key there is trim. I wear mine long and not much style to it so there is not much that can go wrong. She does know not to make it too short--- and well I trust her, so it works for us.

My fianceé and I cut and dye eachothers hair all the time. For us it's not so much a money issue as that we know what the other one wants. It's a lot easier and faster to just do it ourselves, and we can do neat things that we might not have the courage to ask for at the hair dressers.

I don't think my partner knows much about women's haircuts, but he does a good job of his own hair, and our step-son's hair. Both of them like very basic styles that can be done with a pair of clippers that pay for themselves after two haircuts, He bought a pair for what two cuts could be at the barber, and he can use them himself for years!!!

Everyone in our family wears basic hair styles, and everyone gets their cuts via the missus and I. I don't see anything wrong, as long as the styles are not extreme. Personally, I think a lot of money is wasted on specialized/professional cuts. But, thats just me. I could always put the money to better use....
