There are so many but I really love this one....

Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the sayer but it was a homosexual soldier

I don't remember the exact quote but it was something like "I'd rather have 2 minutes of something wonderful then a lifetime of nothing special". It's from the movie Steel Magnolias.
